DD+B partnered with Sun Hill Properties to implement a comprehensive property improvement plan at Courtyard by Marriott Venture Simi Valley to modernize the hotel in line with their occupancy rate goals. DD+B completed interior and exterior improvements to the 98-key hotel, completely removing and reconstructing multiple areas within the hotel from the studs. This scope of work included common areas, the gym, pool area and restrooms. The existing pool was fully modernized, and the front entrance to the hotel was taken down and reconstructed to include structural steel and a more modern finished look. The exterior renovation included repainting and signage repair for the entire property.
